Job summary

Enterprise Singapore is seeking a (Senior) Development Partner for SMEC and Partner roles in Singapore. The role focuses on managing key SME customers, developing and overseeing programmes, and reporting outcomes with clear KPIs.

You will coordinate with SMEs, IHLs and government partners to address industry challenges, drive capability building, and support growth for Singapore’s enterprise ecosystem. The position is permanent and full-time, based in Singapore, with a closing date of 29 Sep

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary account manager for SMECs, understanding their needs and required support.
• Strategise, plan and manage projects with SMECs and IHLs, defining milestones and KPIs.
• Create, manage and review programmes including SME Centre and ELT programmes.
• Provide timely reporting of programme feedback and manage data, deliverables and fund disbursements.
• Assess and monitor impact using qualitative and quantitative data.
• Collaborate with TACs and other agencies to identify industry challenges and support related projects.
• Support strategic communications and engagement with SMECs and IHLs.
• Work closely with business leaders in Singapore to deliver outcomes.

What the role is

Enterprise Singapore is the government agency championing enterprise development. The agency works with committed companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. It also supports the growth of Singapore as a hub for global trading and startups, and builds trust in Singapore’s products and services through quality and standards.
The Partners Division within Enterprise Singapore develops programmes and platforms with partner organisations such as SME Centres and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) through which EnterpriseSG assists SMEs at scale.

What you will be working on

• Serve as the primary account manager for SMECs, developing deep understanding of their operational needs, constraints, and required support;
• Strategise, plan and manage projects in partnership with SMECs and IHLs, establishing clear milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs), while ensuring comprehensive tracking and timely reporting of project outcomes;
• Create, manage and review programmes including SME Centre and ELT programmes (operated through SME Centres and IHLs);
• Provide timely reporting of programme feedback and management of data, which includes SMECs and IHLs’ deliverables and fund disbursements;
• Assess and monitor the impact and effectiveness of programmes of both qualitative and quantitative data;
• Work closely with key partners (e.g. TACs, other government agencies) in identifying industry and SME challenges and support the development of relevant projects; and
• Support strategic communications and engagement efforts with SMECs and IHLs.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with business leaders in Singapore.

An ideal candidate would be action-oriented, possess strong stakeholder management skills, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates with experience in strategy development, programme development and partners management will have an advantage.
