Job summary

CHECC(SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced structural engineer to review, analyze, and design building structures and façades.

You will apply Eurocodes and relevant standards, design temporary works, and coordinate with clients, consultants and the site team to resolve design issues. The role requires a Bachelor degree in engineering and at least 5 years of contractor or consultant experience, with strong knowledge of ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, MS Tower and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering in a relevant discipline.
At least 5 years of experience with contractors or consultants.
Demonstrated expertise in structural steelworks preferred.

Responsibilities

Review design proposals from consultants or sub-contractors.
Perform structural analysis and design of building structures, ERSS, railings, and façades per Eurocodes.
Design temporary works including formwork, scaffolding, and lifting points.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams to resolve design issues.
Attend site inspections and liaise with authorities as required.
Address design-related issues arising during construction.
