Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) seeks a Resident Engineer to lead submission activities and coordinate between design consultants and site teams in Singapore.

You will align design deliverables with site execution plans, monitor milestones and maintain schedules while liaising with authorities and stakeholders. A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and relevant LTA project experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience in Singapore LTA cycling path projects, pedestrian improvement works and/or street works in a main-contractor environment.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board or equivalent for Resident Engineer registration.
• Experience with Design Consultants on submissions and requirements for cycling path networks, street works or road works will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, coordination and monitoring of project submissions and progress.
• Plan and collaborate with Project Managers and site teams to align design deliverables with site execution plans and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Design Consultants and technical departments to ensure design quality, milestones and timelines are met.
• Review and coordinate submission packages for compliance and constructability.
• Monitor submission and approval plans status.
• Lead interfacing coordination with stakeholders, land owners and authorities.
• Prepare and present progress reports, schedule forecasts and design status updates for management and client review.

• Coordinate closely with Design Consultants, and technical departments to ensure design quality, milestone and timeline are met
• Review and coordinate with Design Consultants to ensure submission packages are compliant and constructable
• Monitor submission plans and approval plans status
• Lead and support interfacing coordination with other project stakeholders, land owners, and authority/agency etc.
• Prepare and present progress report, schedule forecast and design status updates for management and client review.

Job Requirement:

• Five (5) years relevant experience in Singapore LTA cycling path project, pedestrian improvement works and/or street works with a Main-Contractor environment
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board or qualification accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer
• Experience with Design Consultant on submission and requirement with relevant nature of project (e.g. Cycling Path network, Street Works, Road Works etc.) will be an advantage
• Familiarity with relevant agency and authority regulation on street worksCandidates with experience in LTA project environment are preferred
