Job summary

NES Fircroft in Singapore is seeking a Senior Contracts Advisor - Derivatives to draft and negotiate OTC derivative agreements and provide contractual guidance to commercial teams. You will advise on ISDA, CSA, VMCSA, broker agreements and related regulatory requirements, manage trade confirmations and disputes, and mentor junior advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent legal experience
• Minimum 3 years drafting, analysis and negotiation of OTC derivatives contracts
• Expert knowledge of derivative agreements (ISDA, CSA, VMCSA, Brokerage, Master and long form)
• Strong regulatory knowledge applicable to derivatives trading activity
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and highly organized

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on standard and complex contractual arrangements (ISDA, CSA, broker agreements, framework and SLA)
• Negotiate and draft OTC derivative contracts and trade confirmations
• Advise traders on commercial and contractual risk and ensure contracts reflect agreed terms
• Maintain accurate records of negotiations and provide visibility to stakeholders
• Support business with pre- and post-deal commercial value-driven advice
• Mentor junior contracts advisors and share knowledge with the team
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
