Job summary

Shell Trading seeks a Senior Contracts Advisor (Derivatives) in Singapore to support OTC derivatives contracts. You will draft and negotiate ISDA, CSA, VMCSA, and related agreements, while advising trading teams on commercial and regulatory matters. The role requires 4+ years of derivative experience and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

You will work within a global contracts team, ensuring governance, risk controls, and timely execution of agreements in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent contracting experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience negotiating derivative contracts, including ISDA.
• Strong working knowledge of OTC derivatives trading documentation and contractual frameworks.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage derivatives agreements, including ISDA, CSA, VMCSA.
• Provide expert commercial and contractual advice to trading teams while ensuring Shell policy compliance.
• Assess contractual risks and propose commercially sound solutions.
• Support negotiation and execution of OTC derivatives contracts and trade confirmations.
• Prepare bespoke agreements to support new business opportunities and structured transactions.
• Maintain accurate contract records and coordinate with stakeholders.
