Job summary

OpenTalent in Singapore is seeking a Datadog Engineer with 5+ years in infrastructure, cloud or SRE roles, including at least 3 years in an SRE SME capacity, ideally in regulated environments.

You will own end-to-end Datadog administration, deploy observability across the full stack, and design auto-remediation workflows using Python, Terraform and Ansible.

The role requires AWS/Azure experience, a solid grasp of SRE principles and incident governance within financial services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
• 5+ years in Infrastructure, Cloud, or SRE roles; 3+ years in an SRE SME capacity; regulated environments preferred.
• Mandatory 2+ years hands-on Datadog administration experience; end-to-end Datadog management.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Enterprise Observability Architecture aligned with resilience mandates.
• Deploy and optimize observability platforms (Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk) for full-stack visibility.
• Implement SRE frameworks; automate runbooks, alerts, self-healing actions, and auto-remediation workflows.
