Job summary

Google Inc. in Singapore seeks a Senior Datacenter Engineer, Electrical Engineering to lead electrical infrastructure projects from due diligence through construction and operations. You will design HV/MV/LV systems, coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors, and ensure safety and standards compliance.

5+ years in mission-critical facilities, experience with substations, switchgear, and power management are required. APAC project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive scalable electrical systems design (HV, MV, LV, renewables) from due diligence through construction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to resolve program-level electrical issues.
• Ensure designs and installations meet rigorous requirements through engineering analysis and tests.
• Define system-level data center architecture and update internal design specs.
• Develop operations and maintenance procedures for major infrastructure upgrades.
