Google Inc. in Singapore seeks a Senior Datacenter Engineer, Electrical Engineering to lead electrical infrastructure projects from due diligence through construction and operations. You will design HV/MV/LV systems, coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors, and ensure safety and standards compliance.
5+ years in mission-critical facilities, experience with substations, switchgear, and power management are required. APAC project experience is a plus.

You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior‑level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).
In this role, you will use your deep technical expertise to oversee data center projects from site due diligence through construction and operations. You will manage a comprehensive electrical scope, including power supply options, onsite generation, substation arrangements, utility interfacing, electrical infrastructure design, system resilience, and critical electrical studies (e.g., arc-flash, power modeling, and AI integration).
You will partner with Architects and Engineers (A/E) to drive technical design across multiple projects. Using programmatic design principles, you will review A/E deliverables to ensure all project goals, safety standards, and Google requirements are met. Furthermore, you will drive cross-disciplinary coordination for rapid, safe construction and strategically integrate the latest electrical technologies into our infrastructure roadmaps.
