Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage large-scale Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL environments and drive automation across cloud platforms.

You will lead upgrades, migrations, backups, and performance tuning while building automation with Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and CI/CD. Applicants should be versed in AWS/Azure DB services and IaC, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead database upgrades, migrations, patching, backup, recovery, and performance tuning activities.
• Build automation solutions using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and modernize database platforms across AWS and Azure.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and self-healing automation initiatives.
• Provide L3/L4 support for critical production systems and lead incident resolution.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams.
