Job summary

Databricks in Singapore is seeking a pre-sales Solutions Architect to partner with customers and engineering teams to demonstrate the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, run hands-on evaluations, and craft reference architectures for real-world data workloads.

You'll guide customers through pilots, articulate business value, and grow toward independent pre-sales leadership within a collaborative, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with clients, storytelling, and aligning with business outcomes.
• Ability to deliver a technical proposition and identify business value.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.

Responsibilities

• Form relationships with clients and collaborate with Account Executives and Senior Solutions Architect.
• Conduct hands-on evaluations and Spark programming in cloud ecosystems with third-party apps.
• Contribute to building the Databricks technical community through workshops and meet-ups.
• Advise on architecture and design of big data analytics solutions.
• Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo apps for customers.
• Develop technically and in pre-sales toward independently operating as a Solutions Architect.
