Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) in Singapore to guide customers in building large‑scale data solutions on Databricks. You will serve as a go‑to expert, working with Solution Architects to design secure, scalable workloads and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will lead technical design reviews, help size workloads, and contribute to POC development, training, and community initiatives while traveling up to 30% in the ASEAN and Greater China

Qualifications

• Pre‑sales or post‑sales experience with external clients across varied industries.
• Data platform engineering experience designing and maintaining production‑grade big data systems (Spark).
• Cloud infrastructure design across AWS, Azure, or GCP with security and networking best practices.
• IAM and least‑privilege concepts; integration with IdPs.
• Hands‑on cloud infrastructure automation tooling experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Security lakehouse / data platform experience on Databricks is a plus.
• Production programming in Python, Scala, SQL, or R; strong software engineering habits.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership guiding strategic customers to successful big‑data implementations.
• Architect end‑to‑end production workloads and optimize pipelines and performance.
• Deliver cloud infrastructure and security guidance for the Databricks platform.
• Assist in more advanced technical sales content, sizing, and custom architectures.
• Create tutorials, training sessions, and participate in community activities.
