Job summary

GoTo Group / Gojek is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the Fulfilment team to tackle high-impact problems spanning Singapore, India, and Indonesia. You will drive ML-driven driver allocations, surge pricing, and incentive design, collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

You’ll own the end-to-end ML lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—while advancing experiments and robust evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Statistics, ML, or related quantitative field.
• Strong foundations in statistics and machine learning with practical application.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience in data analysis or modeling libraries.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving with data-driven communication.
• Willingness to learn fast and collaborate in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into technical problems solvable with data, statistics, and ML.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to build ML solutions powering driver allocations, surge pricing, and incentives.
• Own the full ML lifecycle—from ideation to deployment and measuring outcomes.
• Improve efficiency of dynamic driver incentives using ML, causal inference, optimization, and simulation.
• Design and interpret experiments to measure model impact with clear success metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance and propose improvements.
• Communicate insights and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders with autonomy in ambiguous spaces.
