Job summary

GoTo Group’s Gojek team seeks a Senior Data Scientist on the Fulfilment group to tackle high-impact problems across Singapore, India, and Indonesia, focusing on efficient order fulfilment and balanced incentives.

You will work with product, engineering, and analytics to deploy real-world ML solutions, driving driver allocations, surge pricing, and measurable business outcomes at scale. The role demands autonomous collaboration in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related quantitative field.
• Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals with practical applications.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, and familiarity with data analysis or modeling libraries.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to reason from data.
• Willingness to learn fast, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.
• Curiosity, humility, and drive to apply data science to real-world problems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business challenges into well-defined technical problems solvable with data, statistics, and machine learning.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to build and scale data science solutions for driver allocations, surge pricing, and incentives.
• Own the full ML lifecycle—from ideation and research to model development, deployment, experimentation, and measurable business outcomes.
• Improve efficiency of dynamic driver incentives using ML, causal inference, optimization, and simulation.
• Design and interpret experiments to measure model impact with clear success metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance and propose improvements.
• Communicate insights and decisions effectively to cross-functional stakeholders with autonomous problem-solving.
