Job summary

GoTo Group is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Fulfilment team, working across Singapore, India, and Indonesia. You will drive pricing-related ML solutions that impact users, drivers, and merchants, with end-to-end ownership of the model lifecycle.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deploy data-driven pricing engines, improve efficiency, and measure outcomes in fast-moving markets. A strong ML background and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related quantitative field.
• 5–8 years of relevant data science experience, with a focus on pricing/dynamic pricing a plus.
• Strong foundation in statistics, ML fundamentals, and real-world ML deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with data analysis libraries and tooling.
• Experience with real-time ML systems and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/AliCloud).
• Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into well-defined ML problems solvable with data and statistics.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to scale ML solutions for pricing across services.
• Own the full ML lifecycle from ideation to deployment and evaluation.
• Improve dynamic pricing systems using econometrics, causal inference, and simulation.
• Design experiments to measure model impact and ensure rigorous evaluation.
• Monitor model performance and iterate for improvements.
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to cross-functional teams.
