Job summary

GoTo Group's GoPay Data Science team seeks a data scientist to develop and optimize personalization models that improve user experiences and engagement. You will prototype, test, and deploy ML solutions, collaborating with product and engineering on end-to-end pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in applied data science or ML roles.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with search, recommendation, or ads systems is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale datasets using distributed environments like Spark or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize personalization and recommendation models to deliver relevant offers, merchants, and experiences.
• Prototype rapidly, run A/B tests, and analyze metrics to evaluate model performance and impact.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, test, and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines.
• Own end-to-end solutioning from problem formulation to deployment with engineers.
