Job summary

GoTo Group is seeking a data scientist to build and optimize personalization and recommendation models for GoPay users. You will prototype, test, and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines in production, driving improvements in CTR, conversion, and engagement.

You will work with product and engineering teams, analyze large-scale datasets, and iterate on models using LLMs/LLVMs to enhance matching accuracy across search and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in applied data science or ML roles.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: supervised learning, ranking, embeddings, and evaluation metrics.
• Experience with large-scale datasets using distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize personalization and recommendation models for GoPay users.
• Prototype rapidly, run A/B tests, and analyze online/offline metrics (CTR, NDCG) to evaluate model performance.
• Own end-to-end solutioning from problem formulation to deployment with engineers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define problems and deploy scalable solutions.
