Job summary

GoTo Financial is seeking a data scientist to develop and optimize personalization and recommendation models for GoPay users. You will apply DS techniques, work with product and engineering to deploy end-to-end ML pipelines, prototype rapidly, and run A/B tests to measure CTR, conversions, and other metrics.

You will leverage large-scale behavioral data to guide feature design and strategic personalization.

Qualifications

6–8 years of hands-on data science or ML experience.
Strong Python proficiency and ML frameworks.
Solid ML fundamentals with evaluation metrics.
Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed environments.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Master's or PhD is a plus.
Hands-on with search/recommendation/ads systems.
Familiarity with LLMs/LLVMs in production.

Responsibilities

Build data science solutions with cross-functional teammates to engage customers and grow GoPay's user base.
Prototype data science solutions and participate in product discussions.
Analyze large volumes of data to generate actionable insights.
Own end-to-end solutions from problem formulation to deployment with engineers.
Participate in conferences and workshops.
Design and implement search, recommendation, or advertising algorithms across GoTo products.
Build user behavior and query/assortment models using LLMs/LLVMs to improve matching.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business DS teams to run experiments and deploy scalable solutions.
