Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks a Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to drive analytics, build and deploy ML models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes data wrangling, visualization, and production-ready pipelines using Python, SQL, and DL frameworks.

You will work on large datasets, contribute to AI solutions, and engage with multiple ST Engineering sites in Singapore, including Changi, Tengah, and Paya Lebar.

Qualifications

• At least three years of implementation and deployment experience in ML and statistical analysis on large datasets.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems using Python, R, SQL, and visualization tools.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch) and agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and insights: perform exploratory data analysis, generate insights, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models: design, build, and optimize ML models and algorithms to solve business problems.
• Model training and evaluation: train and fine-tune models and evaluate performance with cross-validation and hyperparameters.
• Model deployment and integration: collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production and expose via APIs.
• Performance monitoring and maintenance: monitor model performance and iterate to improve accuracy and efficiency.
