DBS Bank Ltd. seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead ML initiatives within Group LCS. You will collaborate with senior management to shape the AI/ML strategy for financial crime surveillance, including AML networks, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.

You will drive end-to-end data science, build models with Python/PySpark, leverage cloud platforms, and mentor junior teammates while ensuring governance and post-deployment monitoring.

Qualificações

• Degree in ML, statistics or related field.
• Experience in hands-on data analytics or AI/ML projects.
• “End-to-end” data science project involvement and production deployment.
• Familiarity with ML pipelines, versioning, testing, and modular code.
• Able to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in agile environments and mentoring juniors.

Responsabilidades

• Own and execute machine learning initiatives regionally for Group LCS.
• Plan, develop, and deliver analytics models for Financial Crime, Legal and Compliance (e.g., AML, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions).
• Collaborate with domain experts and data scientists to drive projects.
• Translate analyses into actionable insights for strategy and standards.
• Ensure governance, AI protocol adherence, data governance, monitoring, and reviews.
• Mentor junior team members.
