Job summary

Chanel SEAA seeks a Lead Data Scientist, Applied AI to drive its data roadmap across Southeast Asia and Australia. You will be the senior technical authority for data science, ML, GenAI and responsible AI, balancing hands-on work with strategic leadership to power decision intelligence for clients, boutiques and business performance.

You will partner with Insight & Foresight, Data Platform, Engineering and Data Products to scale AI capabilities, establish standards and foster responsible AI

Qualifications

Seven+ years of experience in data science and ML, with hands-on delivery of analytical solutions.
Practical expertise in statistical modelling, ML, experimentation and model evaluation.
Hands-on delivery of GenAI or enterprise AI capabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Data Science and Applied AI Practice across SEAA, setting standards and best practices.
Turn business questions into decision intelligence by connecting evidence to value.
Build and scale advanced analytics and AI products with governance and scalability in mind.
Drive adoption, embed intelligence into business rhythms, and lead organisational change.
Ensure responsible AI with privacy, explainability, and governance controls.
