Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a Data Protection Legal Counsel to support the DPO in Singapore. You will oversee PDPA compliance programs, policies, and annual training for staff, and respond to data subject requests and incidents.

The role requires a law degree with 5+ years PQE in data protection matters, familiarity with GDPR, cross-border data transfers, and risk assessments. A collaborative, detail-oriented counsel is essential.

Qualifications

• LLB with at least 5 years PQE focused on data privacy.
• Strong knowledge of PDPA, GDPR, and international data protection regimes.
• Experience drafting DPAs and cross-border data transfer agreements.
• Proven ability to lead data privacy training and incident response.
• Professional privacy certifications preferred (CIPP/A, CIPM).

Responsibilities

• Assist DPO and Deputy DPO to execute the PDPA compliance work plan.
• Review and implement company policies for personal data protection.
• Deliver staff training and awareness communications on PDPA.
• Handle data subject requests, access and correction procedures.
• Support investigations and incident response for privacy matters.
