Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking a Manager to join the Data Protection Office. You will develop guidance, monitor compliance with laws, contractual obligations and internal policies, and support data protection initiatives across the firm.

You will lead reviews, investigate privacy matters, support training, and coordinate reporting while guiding junior colleagues and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a risk-related role, with 2+ years in data privacy, data protection and/or data governance.
• Certifications like CIPP/CIPE/CIPM/CAIGP are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to coach and guide junior team members and collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing global and local data protection policies and guidance.
• Conduct privacy reviews to ensure compliance and address issues.
• Investigate data incidents, provide advice and remediation actions, and report as needed.
• Review data protection controls in technology risk assessments and support related negotiations.
• Develop training materials and deliver data protection and privacy training.
• Lead ad-hoc projects and periodic internal/external reporting.
