Job summary

Visa is seeking a Data Engineer to transform IAM telemetry into actionable insights on ForgeRock‑centric platforms, leveraging Python/SQL, EDA, and ML basics. You will build models, dashboards, and dashboards while integrating with CI/CD, Docker, and release processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years with an Advanced Degree.
• 3+ years applying Python/SQL to real datasets with solid statistics (hypothesis tests, confidence intervals).
• Knowledge of IAM: SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0; willingness to learn ForgeRock AM/DS telemetry.
• Experience with dashboards in Splunk, Elastic/Kibana, or Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Ingest IAM telemetry for analysis and modeling.
• Build baseline models for anomaly detection, UEBA, and risk scoring.
• Run EDA and A/B tests to tune MFA journeys and security UX.
• Engineer reproducible features and clean notebooks; versioned datasets and data docs.
• Package analyses/models for production with Docker and VM’s; contribute to CI/CD.
• Set up monitoring for data/model quality, drift, and alerts.
• Collaborate with IAM engineers to translate insights into policy changes.
• Explore agentic AI approaches within audit trails and guardrails.
• Ensure privacy-by-design in data handling and compliance.
