Job summary

Visa is seeking a Data Engineer for its Global B2B Identity & Access Management team in Singapore. You will transform authentication and authorization telemetry into actionable insights, building models for anomaly detection and risk scoring while supporting secure, auditable deployments.

In-office presence is required for at least three days per week; you’ll collaborate across IAM engineering and Release Engineering to move notebooks into production with CI/CD, containers, and monitoring,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 1+ year with an Advanced Degree.
• Hands-on with Python for data science and SQL for data prep/analysis.
• Experience applying statistics and hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with IAM telemetry and data security principles.
• Experience with dashboards in Splunk, Kibana, or Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Ingest IAM telemetry (ForgeRock AM/DS, SAML/OAuth events) for analysis.
• Build baseline models for anomaly detection, UEBA, risk scoring.
• Run EDA and A/B tests to tune journeys and MFA steps.
• Package analyses/models for production with Docker and VM’s.
• Contribute to CI/CD and safe rollout patterns (canary).
• Set up monitoring for data/model quality and alerts.
• Collaborate with IAM engineers to translate insights into policy changes.
