Job summary

Grab is seeking an experienced data/AI backend engineer to join the Integrity team. You will architect data infrastructure, build AI-enabled risk workflows, and connect business logic to the Risk Engine, enabling reliable, scalable agentic systems.

You will collaborate with analysts to translate domain knowledge into machine-readable formats, optimize latency and cost, and help deploy secure multi-agent orchestration frameworks using LangSmith, LangGraph, and LangChain.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data-heavy systems, backend engineering, or ML.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Engineering, Analytics, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, backend architecture, and secure API design.
• Strong data engineering foundations: pipelines, ETL, vectorization, embeddings.
• Hands-on experience deploying and orchestrating LLMs with LangSmith and LangGraph.
• Domain knowledge in Trust & Safety / Fraud is a plus, with eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI data infrastructure and pipelines behind our AI, including vector databases, embeddings, and parsing unstructured data.
• Orchestrate multi-agent workflows with modern frameworks to automate risk detection.
• Implement automated guardrails to block hallucinated AI outputs before production.
• Develop secure MCP servers and restricted API wrappers for safe interaction with the Risk Engine.
• Improve reliability, latency, and token-cost efficiency of internal agent platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to translate tacit Trust & Safety knowledge into machine-readable formats.
