This role will lead mechanical design teams, oversee delivery and commercial performance of major projects, and support business growth across APAC. The candidate will manage resources, ensure compliance with local codes and international standards, and build strong client relationships while

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15 years in MEP or building-services design consultancy.
• Proven experience delivering mechanical design for data centres.
• Strong knowledge of data centre cooling systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams on complex projects.
• Good understanding of Singapore building regulations and standards.
• Strong client-facing, commercial and communication skills.
• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status advantageous.

• Prepare technical and fee proposals and contribute to tender submissions.

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of mechanical engineers.

• Oversee mechanical design and delivery for data centre and mission-critical projects.

• Ensure projects meet technical, quality, programme, and budget requirements.

• Review engineering designs and ensure compliance with Singapore codes and relevant international standards.

• Coordinate with clients, developers, contractors, consultants, and internal engineering disciplines.

• Manage project resources, fees, profitability, and commercial risks.

• Prepare technical and fee proposals and contribute to tender submissions.

• Build strong client relationships and identify new opportunities in the data centre sector.

• Support recruitment, resource planning, and the continued growth of the Singapore team.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 10–15 years of experience in MEP or building-services design consultancy.

• Proven experience delivering mechanical design for data centres or other mission-critical facilities.

• Strong knowledge of data centre cooling systems and mechanical infrastructure.

• Experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.

• Good understanding of Singapore building regulations and engineering standards.

• Strong client-facing, commercial, and communication skills.

• Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer Singapore, or an equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
