Job summary

Nxera, part of Singtel Group, seeks a Senior Manager, Project & Construction Management (Data Centre) to drive regional DC projects, focusing on sustainability, connectivity and AI as we expand capacity and capabilities.

You will oversee the project lifecycle from initiation to close, develop program master plans, manage budgets and procurement, lead tender processes, and ensure EHS compliance while coordinating with country leads and stakeholders; travel regionally 20–25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management or construction management in DC environments.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and procurement in large scale projects.

Make an Impact by

• Manage new Data Center project execution for green and/or brown field projects regionally.
• Support the individual country project lead and overview of all phases of the data center project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
• Development of project master program, project charter and set up project processes
• Sourcing for suitable specialist and subject matter experts to be part of project delivery team.
• Translate business requirement/plan into executable project deliverables
• Prepare project budget capital funding, manage approved project capital funding cashflow and spending within approved budgets.
• Lead project tender and administration processes.
• Timely and accurately reporting of project progress and expenditure to management.
• Familiar with Data center risk redundancy configurations and requirement
• Day to day construction oversight to ensure the project is carried out in compliance with EHS requirement in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Assist in researching new technologies that could apply to new DC or to enhance current DC
• Knowledgeable in various M&E critical systems (e.g. UPS, Generator, Chiller, Cooling Tower) requirement including testing and commissioning (i.e. FAT, SAT, IST)
• Knowledge in civil and architecture detail including the sequence of work to support the development of schedule for efficient delivery.
• Ensure Environment, Safety and Occupational Health are implemented by project contractors.
• Ability in reading design and construction drawings for all fields (Architectural, Structural, M&E, etc.)
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate communication, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Foster a culture of quality assurance and improvement for the project and within the project team.
• Ensure projects conform to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Willing to travel regionally on an as-needed basis (20% - 25% travel).

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in project management or construction management with proven track records in green and/or brown field data center projects.
