Job summary

ANCHOR SEARCH GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior Electrical Principal Engineer to design, optimize, and scale critical power infrastructure for hyperscale data centers supporting AI and cloud workloads. You will lead topology design from grid to rack, perform electrical studies, ensure LV/MV distribution, and collaborate with internal and external partners to meet cost and schedule targets. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of data centre design experience.
• Electrical Professional Engineer with practicing certificate.
• Experience in hyperscale data centers (>50MW per building).

Responsibilities

• Design system topology and schematics from utility grid to rack level.
• Develop power solutions for continuous operation of cooling technologies.
• Plan capacity using power smoothing to manage dynamic AI workloads.
• Right-size electrical equipment to meet peak demand.
• Configure and sequence operations to optimize PUE.
• Conduct SPoF, arc flash, and load flow studies using ETAP/SKM/CYME.
• Standardize build-to-suit design templates to reduce cycle times.
• Future-proof electrical designs for evolving workloads.
• Manage concurrent and fast-track projects with internal/external partners.
