Job summary

Ernst & Young Solutions LLP in Singapore is seeking a Data Architect to join the AI & Data team. You will design data architecture platforms, lead large-scale data platform deliveries, and craft hybrid cloud architectures to meet business objectives.

You will partner with architects, project managers, analysts, data scientists, engineers and consultants to implement end-to-end data transformations in a dynamic, globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• Min Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience on data platform solutions across the entire SDLC.
• At least 2 years’ experience in design and architecture, data strategy definition, mapping requirements to technical capabilities.
• Proficiency in programming leveraging Python, Spark, Scala and other programming languages.
• Understanding of end-to-end data analytics domain and insights delivery.
• Excellent understanding of data modelling techniques and leading trends on data platforms including AI.
• Possess strong problem-solving, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design complex data architecture platforms with scalability and resilience.
• Lead technical delivery of large data platforms across cloud environments.
• Craft hybrid cloud data platform architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Deliver deployments on public clouds and highly secure environments.
• Integrate with data governance tools and ecosystem products.
• Translate business requirements into high-level and low-level designs.
• Present findings to non-technical audiences and provide strategic recommendations.
• Stay current with technical and industry developments, including AI integrations.
