Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. is seeking a senior leader for the Wealth Management Credit team within Risk Management Group.

The role drives complex and structured credit transactions, portfolio oversight, policy development and strategic risk initiatives while advancing the team’s capabilities and operating model. The ideal candidate will have extensive senior Credit Risk Management experience in Private Banking or corporate banking, including UHNW credit portfolios and underwriting complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical/Credit Analysis skills.
• Understanding of financial markets and derivatives.
• Ability to identify emerging and concentration risks beyond individual transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a designated team of Credit Risk Managers, ensuring high standards of credit assessment and portfolio oversight.
• Assess complex and structured credit transactions with Front Office and Credit Risk Managers, addressing risk mitigants and regulatory considerations.
• Review and approve credit requests within delegated authority and provide well‑supported recommendations.
• Lead or contribute to reviews of credit programmes, underwriting standards and new product structures.
• Contribute to development and periodic review of credit policies and guidelines, incorporating market developments.
• Provide portfolio risk oversight including emerging and concentration risks and stress testing actions.
• Support transformation initiatives, including automation of credit processes with proper governance.
