Job summary

Kulicke and Soffa seeks a Senior Accountant to analyse and report on manufacturing costs, inventory and financial performance. You will partner with BU, operations and supply chain to drive cost insights and ensure accurate month-end close.

You will prepare detailed cost analyses, gross margin reports, and support internal controls under SOX; strong Oracle/COGNOS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting / professional qualification (eg CPA, ACCA) or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of relevant working experience.
• Familiar with Oracle/COGNOS and MS Office applications (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BU, operations and supply chain to manage inventories and Manufacturing cost data; analyze cost accounting data and assist with inventory movements.
• Close BU month-end, prepare journal entries, analyze inventory valuation, roll-forwards, variances and accruals.
• Coordinate GIT reporting, bill and hold accrual reporting.
• Prepare analyses and reconciliations for sales, deferred sales, cost of sales and inventory.
• Analyze and report monthly and quarterly gross margin by business line and product; ensure schedules are accurate.
