Job summary

Our client, a leading international bank in Singapore, is appointing an Assistant Vice President, Corporate Banking to manage a portfolio of large corporate clients. The role covers relationship management, credit origination and a broad range of corporate banking solutions including lending, trade finance, cash management and related services.

The ideal candidate has 3-8 years in corporate banking, strong credit analysis skills and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• 3-8 years of relevant corporate banking experience with large corporates.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products and credit analysis.
• Experience in relationship management, credit origination and/or corporate lending.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of large corporate clients.
• Act as a trusted banking partner, understanding clients' business, financial and strategic requirements.
• Identify opportunities for new business and wallet expansion across corporate banking products.
• Drive loan origination, structuring and execution of bilateral and syndicated facilities.
• Collaborate with product specialists across Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and other areas.
• Prepare and present credit proposals, annual reviews and client account plans.
• Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality and utilization.
• Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations for execution.
