Job summary

Straits Construction Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced MEP Coordination Supervisor to oversee MEP works, progress, and DLP across multiple projects. You will verify drawings, submittals, and method statements, and coordinate with subcontractors and project teams on site.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Building Services), at least 5 years in MEP coordination for local building projects, and familiarity with MEP standards and BIM tools such as

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Service.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years in coordination and supervision of MEP works in local building construction.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for all the MEP work and progress of multiple projects during and after DLP.
• Verify and follow-up on submission of necessary drawings, OMM, materials, method statements by subcontractors and/or project team.
• Plan and coordinate MEP trainings to Client representatives as specified in contract.
• Coordinate and verify maintenance schedule of MEP systems during DLP.
• Check and ensure compliance with TOP check lists and RI (M&E).
• Plan and coordinate inspections related to MEP trades.
• Plan and monitor MEP work progress and updates.
• Identify and resolve MEP site issues and defects faced at different projects during and after DLP.
• Establish proper communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with site teams to manage and rectify MEP defects/issues.
• Initiate and attend meetings with subs, consultants, managing agents, end-users, etc.
• Carry out site audits as required.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/Management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Building Service.
• Candidate with proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit will have added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in coordination and supervision of MEP works in local building construction. Preferably in high rise building projects.
• Good knowledge of MEP specifications, code of practices, standards and BCA quality requirements.
