Job summary

HP in Singapore is seeking an experienced Control Panel Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical architecture for control panel assets and support large-scale engineering programs. The role combines mechanical design with system-level integration, validation, and manufacturability across R&D and manufacturing readiness.

You will work with electrical, firmware, and software teams to ensure robust integration, drive DFMA improvements, and support prototype builds, testing, and production transfer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering, enclosure development or electromechanical product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct mechanical designs for control panels, electrical enclosures, racks and hinges, and integrated electromechanical systems.
• Design and implement mechanical layouts, sheet metal structures, mounting systems, cable routing features, and serviceability features.
• Perform 3D CAD modeling, detailed drawing creation, tolerance analysis, and design documentation for mechanical assemblies and production release.
• Collaborate with electrical, firmware, and software engineers for robust integration across systems.
• Drive DFM/DFA improvements to optimize manufacturability, reliability, cost, and serviceability.
