Job summary

Leading A1 Main Contractor in Singapore is seeking a Deputy Contracts Manager to lead commercial and contract management for major LTA MRT station and tunnelling projects. You will oversee contract administration, cost control and subcontract management, coordinating with LTA, consultants and project teams to drive timely, accurate claims and final accounts.

A minimum 8 years’ relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant Quantity Surveying / Contracts Management experience.
• Experience with LTA civil infrastructure projects and MRT/tunnelling exposure.
• Strong post-contract commercial management experience on MRT/underground structures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracts Manager in overseeing contract administration, commercial management and cost control for major LTA MRT and tunnelling projects.
• Manage subcontract procurement, tender evaluations, contract negotiations and subcontract administration.
• Oversee progress claims, variation orders, cost assessments and final accounts, ensuring accurate commercial reporting and financial control.
• Prepare, review and manage extension-of-time (EOT) claims, contractual correspondence and commercial claims.
• Coordinate with LTA, consultants, subcontractors and project teams to resolve contractual matters, variations and commercial disputes.
• Support the Contracts Manager in commercial risk management, cost forecasting, budget monitoring and project financial performance.
