Job summary

HYUNDAI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD in Singapore seeks a seasoned Precast Segment Lead to supervise moulds, rebar equipment, and gantry crane operations within large-scale viaduct projects. You will review cross-sections and manage PC segment lifting in the yard while ensuring quality casting and repairs.

You must have 15+ years in precast segments and be fluent in Korean to liaise with Korean HQ and Singapore staff. Night shifts are required for production cycles on site.

Qualifications

• Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent.
• 15+ years of precast segment experience in large-scale viaduct/road projects.
• Experience in Precast yard (viaduct segments) is mandatory.
• Expertise in Rebar, Steel fabrication and Hydraulic Equipment (pre-tensioner).
• Willingness to work night shifts for segment production.
• Proficient in written and spoken Korean for liaison with Korean executives and partners.

• Lead PC segment lifting operations in the precast yard.

• Oversee construction of PC yard, precast segment fabrication and erection.
• Supervise heavy segment erection, gantry crane operation, rebar assembly and post-tensioning.

Job description

• Reports to Precast manager
• Responsible for Precast Mould, Rebar equipment & Gantry crane assembly, operation and maintenance
• Review structural shape for precast segments for highway bridge structure (precast box girder, I-girder, Crosshead)
• PC segment (PC box girder, Crosshead, I-beam, Longitudinal Beam) lifting operation in the precast yard
• In charge of Segment match- casting mould operation (Short line Method), casting and repair work
• Responsible for Construction of PC Yard, Precast segment fabrication & erection (Crosshead, I-beam, etc.)
• Supervise heavy segment erection, gantry crane operation, rebar assembly, post-tensioning work etc.
• Provide periodic updates with project progression to Korean Headquarters and Singapore Branch Office in Korean

Job Requirements

• Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of similar precast segment experience in big scale infrastructure viaduct/roads/highway projects
• Past experience in Precast yard (viaduct segments) is mandatory for this position
• An expert of Rebar, Steel Fabrication and Hydraulic Equipment (pre tensioner)
• Willing to commit to night shift work (segments production)
• Proficient in Written and Spoken Korean to act as a key liaison for Korean-speaking executives, staff and partners
