Senior Construction Project Leader: Major SG Builds

Job summary

Kepler Search is assisting a well-established Singapore construction group in finding a Senior Project Manager to lead major projects from start to finish. You will be accountable for SEQDC, steering teams, managing stakeholders and ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost compliance.

You will shape execution strategies, oversee budgets and procurement, champion safety, and drive delivery through to commissioning. Experience with large-scale building or infrastructure is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/related field required.
• 15–20 years in construction with at least 10 years in project management/senior leadership.
• Track record delivering at least two projects each valued > S$300 million.
• Hands-on exposure to large-scale building, mixed-use, institutional, healthcare, commercial, industrial or infrastructure work.
• Solid knowledge of project controls, risk management, procurement, contract administration and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Shape execution strategies, construction methodologies, resource plans and programmes.
• Own the commercial side of delivery, including budgets, forecasting, procurement, cost control, contract administration and variations.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WSH regulations and environmental requirements.
• Lead project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Anticipate project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Maintain quality standards in line with specifications and client expectations.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and senior management.
• Take responsibility for approvals, permits and inspections throughout the project.
• Run the project through commissioning, handover, defect rectification and closeout.
• Contribute to tender reviews, business development and pre-construction planning as needed.
• Drive performance across the full lifecycle against SEQDC targets.
