Job summary

LONGXIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Director to lead construction projects from planning through completion. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Preferred candidates have proven experience in school, nursing home, and factory construction projects and will oversee planning, execution, risk management, costs, and stakeholder coordination to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB and BCA Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building construction projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing school, nursing home, and factory construction projects locally.
• Experience with main contractor projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls.
• Familiar with local authority requirements and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage clients, consultants, subcontractors, and teams.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from inception to handover.
• Report to Management with updates on progress, risks, budgets, and resources.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting objectives and quality standards.
• Develop and monitor master programmes, identify critical paths, and implement recovery plans.
• Lead project teams, site staff, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review schedules, manpower, procurement plans, and resource allocation.
• Monitor costs, budgets, variations, and claims to meet profitability targets.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.
• Conduct site visits, progress meetings, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee contract administration, tender evaluations, and procurement.
• Drive continuous improvement and high client satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop team members; maintain high-performance culture.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
