Job summary

LONGXIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through handover. You will coordinate teams, monitor budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in school, nursing home, and factory projects. Singapore-based role with main contractor exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• A recognized Civil Engineering degree (PEB/BCA Singapore).
• Minimum 7 years of building construction experience, with ≥5 years in leadership.
• Proven track record in school, nursing home, and factory projects locally.
• Experience with main contractor projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, contract administration and project controls.
• Familiar with local authority requirements and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and handover of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Provide updates on progress, risks, budgets, and resource needs to management.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
• Develop and update master programmes, identify critical paths, implement recovery plans.
• Lead project teams, site staff, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review schedules, manpower, procurement, and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Monitor costs, budgets, variations, and claims to ensure profitability.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards and company policies.
• Conduct site visits, reviews, and meetings to identify issues and actions.
• Oversee contract admin, tenders, procurement, and project documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain high delivery standards.
• Mentor and develop team members for a high-performance environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.
