CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking an experienced construction professional to lead site activities for complex vehicular and road projects in Singapore. You will interpret drawings, manage resources, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Night shifts and on-site work are possible per project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by local authorities.
• At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience, with 8+ years in management and construction of vehicular structures and roads.
• Experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, planning, quality management, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities and progress to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Plan and set up the construction site with cost, quality, and customer satisfaction in mind.
• Coordinate resources including staff, subcontractors, and materials.
• Lead safety compliance and ensure on-site adherence to safety policies.
• Review construction plans and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Monitor performance of site teams and manage budgeting.
• Resolve discrepancies in drawings with consultants before work proceeds.
