Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager in Singapore to oversee projects from conception to completion. You will manage construction workers, subcontractors and collaborate with architects, engineers and other specialists to ensure safe, compliant and cost-efficient delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years of construction management experience, strong technical knowledge in structural/architectural or M&E works, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Proven 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Solid knowledge of structural, architectural (finishing) or M&E works.
• Strong organizational, detail oriented and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor construction projects from conception to completion.
• Manage construction workers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction specialists.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, safety codes and regulations.
• Report progress, risks and opportunities to the Project Manager.
• Document changes to specifications, work scopes and drawings.
• Swiftly respond to delays, emergencies, and problems.
• Monitor productivity and schedule performance; propose improvements.
• Promote safety standards and culture.
• Manage materials at site to avoid wastage and overstock.
• Manage assets and equipment rental for optimal utilization.
• Control manpower and overtime cost within budget.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by management.
