Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified M&E Site Supervisor to oversee building M&E works on local projects. The role requires coordinating with consultants, clients and subcontractors, managing materials and manpower, and ensuring safety and QA/QC compliance on site.

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of local experience in supervision of building M&E construction works
• A positive team leader with good judgment, prompt decision-making abilities and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Possess high level of initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Has prior experience working on HDB M&E projects

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E works.
• Manage material, equipment and manpower in his section to ensure proper and economical usage.
• In-charge of receipt, transfer and control of M&E construction materials in designated area.
• Enforce the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures in accordance to Project Safety manual.
• Implement and monitor that the permit to work system is properly followed on site.
• Follow QA/QC procedures and implement CONQUAS standard for site works on site.
• Prepare daily report for related works, and ensure progress is on schedule.
• Supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.
• Prepare method statement, shop drawings, CSD drawing, installation / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
• Assist in updating site work status report and support Project Manager on M&E matters including preparing M&E Master Construction and T&C Schedule.
• Liaise with authorities / subcontractors / clients on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.
• Hold technical discussions with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
