in Singapore seeks an experienced project management professional to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with the Project Manager to monitor schedules, progress and deadlines. You will review drawings with architects and engineers, assess feasibility and risks, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and authorities, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project management is required.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor project schedules, progress and deadlines.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
• Review construction drawings and specifications with architects, consultants and engineers.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and risk evaluations to support construction planning.
• Follow up with consultants on technical documentation and MOS.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with drawings, specs and quality standards.
• Monitor materials and methods for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and authorities on technical matters.
• Resolve site technical issues and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
• Monitor progress of technical submissions, approvals and construction documentation.
• Oversee daily site operations and provide guidance to junior engineers and site personnel.
• Coordinate with safety personnel to ensure workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor project expenditure and assist with budget forecasting.
• Review contractor invoices and variation claims against contracts.
• Prepare project progress reports and highlight risks, delays and issues.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Head of Engineering.
