Job summary

Alibaba Pictures Group in Singapore seeks a Senior Compliance Officer to protect the company, affiliates, and customers by ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations and internal controls.

You will lead risk management, design and implement a robust compliance program, coordinate with regulators and internal teams, and educate staff on regulatory practices to support business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Senior Compliance Officer or similar in banks, e-commerce, or payments.
• Fluent in English; working Mandarin proficiency required for coordinating with Mandarin-speaking teams.
• Familiar with risk management and industry standards.
• Knowledge of Singapore AML/KYC, PSN01, and Payment Services Act compliance.
• Excellent communication, integrity and professional ethics.
• Education in law/finance/business administration or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACAMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Protect the company, affiliates, and customers from regulatory non-compliance risks.
• Ensure operations and transactions follow all relevant laws and internal rules; review employees' work.
• Serve as point of contact for Singapore regulators; establish communication with authorities.
• Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program.
• Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
• Draft and revise company policies.
• Pre-audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses.
• Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk.
• Collaborate with external auditors or regulators when needed.
• Set plans to manage crises or compliance violations.
• Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices.
• Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports to authorities.
