Bloomberg is seeking a Market Specialist to support Sales by acting as a subject matter expert for commodities across ASEAN markets. You will consult with senior client decision makers, help close opportunities, and feed back to product teams to shape Bloomberg's tools and services.

The role requires deep market knowledge, 7+ years in Financial Services or fintech, and 5+ years in commodities sales/trading/research. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Services or a financial technology company.
• 5+ years of experience in Commodities sales, trading or research.
• Experience leading senior level client or internal conversations.
• Practical experience using the Bloomberg Terminal and/or applicable commodities software providers.
• The ability to convey complex ideas and solutions in a simple and concise way to audiences both large and small.
• The business insight required to use your knowledge and experience to make good judgement and quick decisions to tangibly impact the commercial success of our business.
• A commercial approach, along with the ability to operate within both departmental and company-wide initiatives, in a non-hierarchical structure without corporate titles.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across ASEAN markets.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English, with excellent presentation, training, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation

Responsabilités

• Consult with senior decision makers at client accounts to close new sales opportunities.
• Provide critical feedback to help shape the development of Bloomberg's tools and services with product management teams.
• Champion the Bloomberg Professional Service at market events and in printed materials.
• Help heighten the knowledge of the sales force and act as a dedicated source of client feedback for product development teams.
• Highlight market expertise through writing for publications or speaking at events.
• Develop and establish your own road-map of initiatives aligned with product, sales and company goals, with regular check-ins and reporting.
• Seek opportunities to mentor, train, run campaigns, and contribute to product enhancements.
