Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to drive end-to-end commercial excellence for major infrastructure programs in Singapore and Southeast Asia. You will lead pre-contract risk mitigation and post-contract cost control, variations, and forensic claims within project teams.

You will collaborate with operations leadership and project controls to align commercial strategies with delivery, while engaging client representatives at director level when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or relevant fields.
• 15+ years in commercial or contract management with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Consulting background in engineering, infrastructure, or project management.
• Full lifecycle experience: pre-contract and post-contract management.
• Strong capability in forensic investigations and data-driven claims.
• Experience with Singaporean contracts (PSSCOC, NEC4) and local agencies.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders and government clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender reviews, identify risks, and provide cost analysis during bidding.
• Monitor budgets, spend, forecasts, and implement cost controls.
• Oversee variations and forensic substantiation across programmes.
• Conduct evidence-based reviews of project documentation and claims.
• Articulate contract scope and implications of changes to teams.
• Engage clients and present submissions at director level when required.
• Govern governance for projects with public sector clients in region.
