Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to lead and deliver comprehensive commercial analysis for large-scale projects. You will ensure data accuracy, provide actionable insights for decision-making, and drive EVM reporting and forecasting in a fast-paced environment.

You will apply advanced Excel and data-visualization skills to manage cost, revenue, margin, and cash performance, while supporting audits, governance reviews, and compliance with commercial policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance) is required.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in commercial analysis, project controls, or cost management in built environment sectors.
• Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with Primavera, Deltek, SAP or equivalent project controls platforms.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, variance analysis, and trend-identification skills.
• Advanced Excel and data-visualization skills for complex financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior leadership presentations.
• Experience with contract compliance monitoring, change management, and risk assessment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask across projects in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with audit preparation and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads commercial analysis, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and provides insights for decision-making.
• Serves as a senior advisor on large-scale projects and initiatives.
• Delivers accurate and timely commercial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Drives earned value management (EVM) and performance index reporting.
• Analyzes cost, revenue, margin, and cash performance to identify trends and risks.
• Examines margin erosion drivers, cash performance, and change recovery trends.
• Supports disciplined change, cost, and risk tracking with monetization and impact assessment.
• Ensures data integrity across commercial systems and supports audits and compliance.
• Supports governance reviews and approval workflows while adhering to policies and procedures.
• Leads contract compliance monitoring and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Drives development and review of EAC and ETC forecasts.
• Provides insights to support margin enhancement and business performance.
