Job summary

HI PRECISION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced CNC programmer to develop and optimize CNC programs from precise drawings for biomedical components.

You will simulate, verify, and refine programs before production, working closely with operators to ensure proper setups and efficient manufacturing. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Precision Engineering and at least seven years of CNC programming experience, with strong skills in G-code and CAD/CAM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in mechanical/precision engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code.
• Strong CAD/CAM experience with Mastercam and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs from detailed drawings and specs.
• Run simulations to verify accuracy and efficiency before machining.
• Collaborate with CNC operators to ensure proper setups and communication.
• Troubleshoot programming issues during machining and adjust as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of programming procedures and revisions for traceability.
• Pursue continuous improvement by adopting new techniques and technologies.
• Ensure programs meet quality control standards and specifications.
