Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe machinist for on-site work in Singapore. You will set up and operate CNC lathe machines, interpret drawings and GD&T, load materials, and inspect parts with precision tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Responsibilities include optimizing tool paths, performing routine maintenance, maintaining logs, and collaborating with engineers and QA for continuous improvement while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on CNC Lathe machining experience.
• Experience in precision manufacturing a plus (semiconductor, medical, defence).
• Proficient in G-code and CAM software.
• Skilled at reading drawings, GD&T, and CAD/CAM files.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and technical docs.
• Load materials and inspect finished parts with precision tools.
• Optimize machine settings and tool paths for surface finish.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Maintain production records and inspection logs.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA and production for improvements.
• Ensure safety protocols and shop floor best practices.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
