Job summary

Forte Employment Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Quality Inspection Engineer to program and optimize CMM inspections, using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS.

You will lead detailed dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts, interpret GD&T, prepare FAI reports, and review approvals, with a focus on ISO 13485 environments. Requires 3–5 years in precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a quality inspection role within precision machining or high-tolerance manufacturing.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and advanced inspection tools (CMM, vision systems).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read complex engineering drawings.
• Experience with FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize CMM inspections using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS.
• Lead and perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts using CMMs and traditional instruments.
• Lead & Prepare inspection reports, first article inspections (FAI) for review/approval.
• Interpret complex GD&T, CP and CPK analyses.
